Very predictable result when sixth ranked Tenerife Naut. (12-11) won against 16th ranked Estudiantes B (6-14) in Madrid 73-67 on Saturday. Tenerife Naut. shot 20 for 29 from the free-throw line, while Estudiantes B only scored three points from the stripe. They outrebounded Estudiantes B 40-28 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for forward Alex Navas (199-2000) who led the winners and scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Senegalese center Elhadji Dieng (211-1996, college: FIU, agency: Green Sports Management) accounted for 10 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Dieng is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Tenerife Naut. players scored in double figures. Point guard Alejandro Montero (185-2003) came up with 14 points and 4 assists and forward Michael Drame (195-1999) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively for Estudiantes B in the defeat. Estudiantes B's coach Sergio Jimenez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Tenerife Naut..
