Undefeated leader Schio delivered the nineteenth consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they beat 6th ranked Campobasso (10-9) 77-61. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Campobasso. Schio dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Campobasso's 30. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American guard Diamond Deshields (185-1995, college: Tennessee) scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and French center Sandrine Gruda (193-1987) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Five Schio players scored in double figures. At the losing side American power forward Reshanda Gray (192-1993, college: California) responded with 12 points and 8 rebounds and American-French Alyssa Lawrence (185-1995, college: UMass) scored 8 points and 6 rebounds (made all of her eight free throws). Campobasso's coach Domenico Sabatelli tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Schio (19-0) have an impressive 19-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 19 victories in a row. Loser Campobasso keeps the sixth place with nine games lost. Schio will meet bottom-ranked Empoli (#14) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Campobasso will play against Moncalieri (#12) and hope to secure a win.
