There was an upset when higher ranked SIG Strasbourg (12-9) was outplayed on the road by ninth ranked Limoges CSP Elite (11-10) 89-62 on Saturday. American guard CJ Massinburg (190-1997, college: Buffalo) stepped up and scored 24 points and 4 assists for the winners and his fellow American import guard Demonte Harper (193-1989, college: Morehead St.) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Limoges CSP Elite's coach Massimo Cancellieri felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American swingman Kameron Taylor (198-1994, college: Seton Hill) with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Leopold Cavaliere (203-1996) scored 11 points and 4 assists. Limoges CSP Elite moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Nanterre. SIG Strasbourg at the other side dropped to the sixth position with nine games lost. They share it with Pau-Lacq-Orthez. Limoges CSP Elite will meet Le Portel (#16) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. SIG Strasbourg will play against Provence Basket (#18) in Fos-sur-Mer and hope to secure a win.
