Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked La Glacerie (2-17) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Champagne (12-7) 83-65 on Saturday. Champagne made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Center Diana Balayera (191-1996) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American guard Alexa Middleton (175-1995, college: Iowa St.) chipped in 17 points. Four Champagne players scored in double figures. Naturalized Senegalese power forward Oumou Toure (190-1988) produced 23 points and 6 rebounds and forward Lucie Carlier (187-1990) added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for lost side.
