There was no surprise in Stockholm where 12th ranked Helsingborg (7-15) was defeated by fifth ranked Alvik Basket (14-9) 73-66. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Elin Ljunggren (185-1996) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 7 rebounds. American guard Dara Taylor (171-1991, college: Penn St.) contributed with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Alvik Basket's coach Fotios Ioannidis allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Japonica James (180, college: Troy) replied with 19 points and 7 rebounds and the former international forward Mathilda Agren (176-1996) added 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Helsingborg. Alvik Basket have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 14-9 record. Helsingborg lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with 15 games lost.
