No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Mataro Parc (9-8) edged on the road 12th ranked Alpicat (2-14) 78-75 on Sunday. It was an exceptional evening for forward Marc Hermoso (193-1999) who led the winners and scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Power forward Alberto Reyes (195-1990) accounted for 11 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Forward Pol Domingo (198-1990) came up with 18 points and 9 rebounds and Alex Rubin De Celis (-2003, agency: Global Sports Basketball) added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Alpicat in the defeat. Four Alpicat players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. The victory was the third consecutive win for Mataro Parc.
