An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Trondheim. Second ranked Baerum faced 4th ranked Midtbyen. Guests from Sandvika (15-3) defeated host Midtbyen (9-8) 76-61. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Midtbyen. American guard Raziyah Farrington (173-1997, college: Charleston) fired 24 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Center Josefin Winther (180-1986) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Farrington is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Fredrikke Hylen (174-1996) produced 17 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Ulrikke Bentsen (182-1999) added 10 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Midtbyen's coach rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Baerum maintains second position with 15-3 record having just one point less than leader Ulriken. Newly promoted Midtbyen keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. Baerum are looking forward to face Ullern (#5) in Oslo in the next round. Midtbyen will play on the road against Hoybraten in Oslo and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
