Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Almansa (9-13) was outplayed on the road by tenth ranked Oviedo (11-10) 85-63 on Sunday. Oviedo dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Almansa's 26. Oviedo forced 20 Almansa turnovers and outrebounded them 40-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. Oviedo moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Castello and Girona. Almansa lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with 13 games lost. Oviedo will meet higher ranked Caceres (#7) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Almansa will play against Lleida (#3) and hope to secure a win.
