The game in Gomel supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Olimpia (16-4) played at the court of 5th ranked Gomel (8-13). Olimpia smashed Gomel 114-50. The game without a history. Olimpia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Gomel's 22. Olimpia forced 22 Gomel turnovers and outrebounded them 55-29 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was a good game for center Palina Damianiak (190-2005) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Ekaterina Novik contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Olimpia players scored in double figures. Power forward Olga Kopylova (187-1982) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and Daria Panasyuk (176-1996) added 11 points and 5 assists in the effort for Gomel. Gomel's coach Anatol Rogozenko gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the third consecutive win for Olimpia. They moved-up to second place. Gomel at the other side keeps the fifth position with 13 games lost.
