We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Rosh Pina where eleventh ranked Galil Gilboa (7-11) defeated 10th ranked Hapoel Beer Sheva (6-11) 72-60 on Monday. At the losing side American center Derek Pardon (203-1996, college: Northwestern) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and naturalized American guard Travis Warech (193-1991, college: Ithaca) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. Hapoel Beer Sheva's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Galil Gilboa moved-up to ninth place, which they share with H.Eilat. Hapoel Beer Sheva lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with 11 games lost. Galil Gilboa will meet Hapoel Eilat (#10) on the road in the next round. Hapoel Beer Sheva will play against the league's second-placed Maccabi Tel-Aviv having rather not much hope for a victory.
