A very close game took place in Torrelavega between Cantabria and Zornotza. Fourth ranked Cantabria (13-5) got a very close home victory over their close opponent Zornotza (14-7). Cantabria managed to escape with a 3-point win 69-66 on Tuesday evening. Cantabria made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was naturalized Equatorial Guinean forward Walter Cabral (200-1995) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds.
