Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Kataja and 9th ranked Lahti had identical 10-15 record. But Lahti was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Joensuu 76-60 on Tuesday night. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 44-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Kataja forced 21 Lahti turnovers. American players dominated also this game. The winners were led by Christopher McKnight (201-1987, college: Akron) who scored that evening 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson (198-1991, college: Temple) supported him with 12 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 steals.
