Everything went according to plan when third ranked Lucenec (17-10) outscored at home 5th ranked Inter Bratislava (13-13) 74-51 on Wednesday. Lucenec forced 23 Inter Bratislava turnovers. The best player for the winners was American guard Desure Buie (179-1997, college: Hofstra) who scored 20 points and 7 assists. His fellow American import forward Akia Pruitt (203, college: UNCP) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds. Lucenec's coach Daniel Sokolovsky felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
