Regular Season Round 24: Gandia - Lliria 75-56

There was no surprise when 4th ranked Lliria (4-3) was outplayed on the road by first ranked Gandia (6-1) 75-56 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was point guard Joan Hernandez (184-1997) who scored 35 points (!!!). Forward Alejandro Terrades (196-2001) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Victor Perez (180-1990) who recorded 13 points and 5 assists and Jose Maria Torres (183-1994) added 12 points respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gandia have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-1 record, which they share with Archena. Loser Lliria dropped to the third place with three games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Gandia will meet at home Murcia 2 (#4) in the next round. Lliria will play against Esportiu and hope to secure a win.
