Everything went according to plan in Barcelona where seventh ranked Ardoi (14-12) outscored bottom-ranked Maresme (1-23) 61-42 on Saturday. Ardoi dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Maresme's 30. They outrebounded Maresme 41-20 including a 15-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Argentinian center Diana Cabrera (186-1993) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds. Point guard Ines Santibanez (-2003) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. Four Ardoi players scored in double figures.
