Kobrat (11-16) outlasted Lahti (10-17) in overtime by two points 99-97 on Saturday night. The hosts trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 24-20 charge, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time and get a 2-point victory in overtime. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was power forward Stokley Chaffee (204-1996, college: Tennessee St.) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 18 rebounds. Forward Andre Wesson (198-1997, college: Ohio St.) chipped in 27 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Kobrat players scored in double figures. Forward Antonio Ballard (194-1988, college: Miami, OH) produced a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 23 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Khalil Iverson (196-1997, college: Wisconsin) added 25 points and 4 steals respectively for the guests. Kobrat have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Kataja. Lahti lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 17 games lost. Kobrat will meet Kataja (#9) in the next round. Lahti will play against Bisons and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
