Regular Season Round 28: Slask 3 - Gimbasket 81-70

There was no surprise in Wroclaw where 14th ranked Gimbasket (3-23) was defeated by sixth ranked Slask 3 (16-10) 81-70 on Saturday. Forward Jakub Bereszynski (197-2004) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Wojciech Siembiga (195-2003) chipped in 21 points. Four Slask 3 players scored in double figures. Slask 3's coach Jacek Krzykala used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Pawel Galczynski (195-1998) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Maciej Kosciuk (181-1994) added 13 points and 9 assists respectively for lost side. Slask 3 maintains sixth position with 16-10 record, which they share with Nysa. Loser Gimbasket keeps the fourteenth place with 23 games lost. They share the position with Zastal ZG. Slask 3 will meet Koscian (#8) on the road in the next round. Gimbasket will play against Pleszew (#3) and hope to secure a win.
