Ninth-ranked Celta Zorka (11-13) gave a tough game to fourth ranked Zamarat (19-6) in Vigo. The visitors from Zamora managed to secure only one-point victory 84-83. However their fans expected much easier game. American guard Morgan Green (170-1996, college: UC Irvine, agency: Gamble Sports Management) notched 28 points and 4 assists to lead the effort and American-Nigerian center Nneka Ezeigbo (188-1998, college: RMU) supported her with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Even 9 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists by Russian power forward Maria Davydova (190-1993, college: FIU) did not help to save the game for Celta Zorka. Point guard Laia Lamana (170-2002) added 16 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the hosts. Celta Zorka's coach Cristina Cantero rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Zamarat have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 19-6 record. Celta Zorka at the other side keeps the ninth place with 13 games lost. Zamarat will play against bottom-ranked Maresme (#16) in Barcelona in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Celta Zorka will play on the road against Azkoitia (#14) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
