There was a surprise result when fourteenth ranked Pesaro (8-13) edged at home higher ranked Brindisi (10-11) 86-84 on Sunday. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Vincent Sanford (193-1990, college: Dayton, agency: Slash Sports) fired 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Tyrique Jones (206-1997, college: Xavier, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. Power forward Nick Perkins (203-1996, college: Buffalo) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds and guard D'Angelo Harrison (193-1993, college: St.John's) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Pesaro and four Brindisi players scored in double figures. Brindisi's coach Francesco Vitucci tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
