There was an upset in Madrid where higher ranked Socuellamos (11-12) was edged by twelfth ranked Zentro Basket 2 (10-14) 63-60 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was center Adrian Sanchez (204-2001) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. DR Congolese guard Gloire Goma (196) chipped in 10 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Jordan Hickman (201-1996, college: Sonoma St.) who recorded 21 points and 9 rebounds and Canadian point guard Adrian Armstrong (183, college: Concordia) added 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Zentro Basket 2 moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Socuellamos at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with Marin and Ardoi.
