The game between closely ranked teams ended with ninth ranked AZS UMK's (11-14) home victory over 10th ranked Trefl 2 (9-16) 106-74 on Monday. Guard Patryk Wojtyka (185-2004) produced 18 points and 4 assists and forward Patryk Kowalski (192-2005) added 17 points respectively for lost side. AZS UMK maintains ninth position with 11-14 record. Loser Trefl 2 keeps the tenth place with 16 games lost. They share the position with SMS PZKosz. AZS UMK will meet higher ranked Gniezno (#4) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Trefl 2 will play against KKS Basket (#13) in Poznan and hope to secure a win.
