Very predictable result when seventh ranked Piacenza (12-12) smashed at home 13th ranked Biella (8-16) 76-57 on Tuesday. They outrebounded Biella 44-31 including 33 on the defensive glass. Point guard Gherardo Sabatini (183-1994) fired 27 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American guard Gabe DeVoe (191-1995, college: Clemson) chipped in 26 points and 6 rebounds.
