The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Polonia Bytom (25-3) in Katowice on Wednesday night. Visitors were rolled over by third ranked Mickiewicz (22-5) 101-82. It ended at the same time the 19-game winning streak of Polonia Bytom. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Mickiewicz shot 62.3 percent from the field. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Mickiewicz have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Polonia Bytom at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. Mickiewicz are looking forward to face Przemysl (#8) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Polonia Bytom will play against Czeladz (#13) and is hoping to win this game.
