Regular Season Round 36: Jamtland - Fryshuset 101-64
Date: March 18, 2022
Bottom-ranked Fryshuset (0-32) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 101-64 loss to second ranked KFUM Jamtland (22-10) in Ostersund on Friday evening. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. KFUM Jamtland dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Fryshuset's 24. KFUM Jamtland forced 19 Fryshuset turnovers and outrebounded them 34-23 including 23 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Fryshuset's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Chase Harler (191-1998, college: WVU) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 6 assists and naturalized American power forward RT Guinn (208-1981, college: Baylor) who added 13 points during the contest. KFUM Jamtland's coach Adnan Cuk felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American center Kenneth Simms (206-1986, college: Cumberland, agency: Interperformances) with 20 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Aaron Williams (198-1991, college: Chicago St., agency: Wasserman) scored 16 points. KFUM Jamtland maintains second position with 22-10 record having five points less than leader Norrkoping. Loser Fryshuset still closes the standings.
