Top ranked HyPo (10-4) recorded its fourth loss in Hyvinkaa on Friday night. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked LrNMKY (9-5) 87-74. It was a key game for the second position in 1st Division. The game was mostly controlled by LrNMKY. HyPo managed to win second period 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Center Elmeri Porvari (206-1996) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 19 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Aubrey Conerly (183-1983, college: Jacksonville) chipped in a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 assists. Four LrNMKY players scored in double figures. American guard Chris Barton (189-1996, college: Niagara) produced a double-double by scoring 32 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists and power forward Toni Honka (193-1984) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. LrNMKY moved-up to second place in 1st Division which they share with defeated HyPo. HyPo at the other side dropped to the second position with four games lost.
