National League top team - I.Nahariya (23-3) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat seventh ranked M.Haifa (13-14) 88-73. I.Nahariya looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The former international point guard Yogev Ohayon (189-1987) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists. American forward Dustin Thomas (203-1995, college: Arkansas) contributed with 22 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. American forward Steve Taylor Jr (206-1993, college: Toledo) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import point guard Kwame Vaughn (190-1990, college: CS Fullerton) added 20 points in the effort for M.Haifa. Four M.Haifa players scored in double figures. I.Nahariya maintains first place with 23-3 record. M.Haifa at the other side dropped to the eighth position with 14 games lost. I.Nahariya are again looking forward to face M.Haifa (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. M.Haifa will have a break next round.
