Not a big story in a game when 13th ranked Moncalieri (4-19) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Ragusa (14-8) 75-67 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Finnish-Egyptian center Awak Kuier (195-2001) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds. American forward Ruthy Hebard (193-1998, college: Oregon) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Croatian power forward Lea Miletic (181-1995) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and 17 rebounds and Belgian point guard Julie Vanloo (172-1993) added 11 points and 4 assists respectively. Ragusa maintains fifth position with 14-8 record. Moncalieri lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the thirteenth place with 19 games lost. Ragusa will meet at home Sassari (#10) in the next round where they are favorite. Moncalieri will play against Broni and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
