Very predictable result when seventh ranked SIG Strasbourg (14-10) defeated at home 16th ranked Chalons-Reims (7-16) 99-85 on Saturday. SIG Strasbourg shot 61.3 percent from the field. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American-Puerto Rican point guard Jordan Howard (180-1996, college: Cent Arkansas) who scored 25 points. Forward Leopold Cavaliere (203-1996) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). SIG Strasbourg's coach Lassi Tuovi used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American point guard Michael Stockton (185-1989, college: Westminster, UT) produced 14 points and 9 assists and the other American import forward Donte Grantham (203-1995, college: Clemson) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests.
