Regular Season Round 21: Toulouse - CFBB 81-34

LF2 top team - Toulouse (18-3) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed eleventh ranked CFBB (4-17) 81-34. Toulouse held CFBB to an opponent 22.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 54.5 percent accuracy of the winners. Toulouse forced 19 CFBB turnovers and had a 32-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by CFBB's players. It was a good game for Swedish guard Kalis Loyd (188-1989, college: Lamar) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Isabelle Strunc (180-1991) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Toulouse's coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Leila Lacan (174-2004) answered with 14 points and swingman Marine Dursus (174-2005) added 6 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for CFBB. Toulouse have an impressive series of thirteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 18-3 record. CFBB at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 17 games lost. Toulouse are looking forward to face Calais (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. CFBB will play against Champagne and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
