Regular Season Round 23: Brindisi - Cremona 87-65

Very expected game when 16th ranked Cremona (5-16) was rolled over on the road by seventh ranked Brindisi (11-11) 87-65 on Sunday. It was a great evening for American guard D'Angelo Harrison (193-1993, college: St.John's) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import Nathan Adrian (206-1995, college: WVU) helped adding 12 points and 10 rebounds. Four Brindisi players scored in double figures. Brindisi's coach Francesco Vitucci felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International guard Matteo Spagnolo (193-2003) responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Tres Tinkle (203-1996, college: Oregon St.) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Brindisi moved-up to sixth place. Cremona lost their fifth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. Brindisi will meet Napoli (#14) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Cremona will play against Treviso and hope to secure a win.
