Rather predictable result in Koszalin where eleventh ranked Dziki (13-15) defeated 13th ranked Zak (10-18) 88-73 on Sunday. Dziki made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Bartosz Majewski (192-1997) who scored 23 points and 6 assists. Guard Przemyslaw Kuzkow (185-1999, agency: Alti Sport) chipped in 22 points and 5 steals. Dziki's coach Krzysztof Szablowski used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized American center Darrell Harris (208-1984, college: URI) who recorded 8 points and 11 rebounds and the former international swingman Jakub Dloniak (194-1983) added 20 points respectively. Dziki moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Slask 2. Zak lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the thirteenth position with 18 games lost. They share it with Pelplin. Dziki will meet at home bottom-ranked Turow (#17) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Zak will play against Ksiezak (#15) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
