Very predictable result when second ranked Estudiantes (19-5) beat on the road 13th ranked Almansa (10-15) 84-68 on Sunday. Estudiantes looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Montenegrin Nemanja Djurisic (203-1992, college: Georgia) stepped up and scored 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Danish center Kevin Larsen (208-1993, college: GWU) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side Haitian-Canadian forward Kevin Bercy (201-1994, college: St.Francis X.) responded with 12 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and American Jalen Nesbitt (198-1993, college: UNF, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Estudiantes maintains second place with 19-5 record behind leader Granada.
