Eighth-ranked San Giovanni (10-14) gave a tough game to second ranked Bologna (18-5) in Sesto San Giovanni on Sunday. The visitors from Bologna managed to secure only two-point victory 65-63. However their fans expected much easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian Ivana Dojkic (180-1997) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 4 steals and international forward Cecilia Zandalasini (186-1996) who added 8 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American-Puerto Rican guard Jazmon Gwathmey (188-1993, college: JMU) with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international center Valeria Trucco (191-1999, agency: LBM Management) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds.
