Undefeated leader Olympiacos recorded the fifteenth consecutive victory on Tuesday night. This time they crushed 6th ranked Chania (5-10) 90-52 in Pireus. Olympiacos dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Chania's 28. Olympiacos forced 25 Chania turnovers and outrebounded them 40-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. Power forward Vagelitsa Vamvaka (183-1992) scored 12 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Canadian center Ruth Hamblin (198-1994, college: Oregon St.) chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) during the contest. Five Olympiacos players scored in double figures. Olympiacos' coach Martins Zibarts felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Bosnian Andjela Delic (184-1996) with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and American power forward Victoria Harris (191-1996, college: Rutgers) scored 6 points and 12 rebounds.
