No shocking result in a game in Wladyslawowo where second ranked Miedzychod (21-6) smashed 10th ranked SMS PZKosz (9-17) 90-71 on Wednesday. Marcin Wrobel (200-1987) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and swingman Jakub Nowak (186-1989) chipped in 22 points and 8 rebounds. Four Miedzychod players scored in double figures. Center Piotr Winkowski (208-2003) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks and guard Mateusz Samiec (184-2005) scored 12 points and 6 assists. SMS PZKosz's coach Mariusz Niedbalski tested eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Miedzychod maintains second place in Group A with 21-6 record having six points less than leader Polonia W-wa. Loser SMS PZKosz keeps the tenth position with 17 games lost. They share it with Trefl 2. Miedzychod will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. SMS PZKosz will play against Politechnika Gd. (#14) in Gdansk and hope to secure a win.
