No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Oviedo (15-11) beat at home 16th ranked Prat (9-17) 77-65 on Thursday. They outrebounded Prat 39-20 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Center Oliver Arteaga (208-1983) notched 16 points to lead the effort and DR Congolese-Canadian guard Mathieu Kamba (196-1995, college: Cent Arkansas) supported him with 12 points and 6 rebounds. Even 12 points and 5 rebounds by Dutch guard Yannick Kraag (203-2002) did not help to save the game for Prat. Forward Miguel Allen (203-2003) added 11 points for the guests. Oviedo moved-up to fifth place. Newly promoted Prat keeps the sixteenth position with 17 games lost. Oviedo will meet Acunsa GBC (#11) in the next round where they are favorite. Prat will play against Castello (#9) in Castellon and hope to secure a win.
