Regular Season Round 27: Zastal - Trefl 91-66

Very expected game in Zielona Gora where 10th ranked Trefl (12-14) was crushed by fourth ranked Enea Zastal (19-9) 91-66 on Thursday. Enea Zastal shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 52.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Serbian guard Nemanja Nenadic (196-1994, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 19 points and 6 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Serbian power forward Dragan Apic (206-1995) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Five Enea Zastal players scored in double figures. Enea Zastal's coach Oliver Vidin felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Angelo Warner (188-1992, college: Morehead St.) who recorded 14 points and 5 assists and Dutch guard Yannick Franke (197-1996) added 13 points respectively. Enea Zastal maintains fourth place with 19-9 record. Loser Trefl keeps the tenth position with 14 games lost. Enea Zastal will meet at home Asseco Arka (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Trefl will play against MKS DG in Dabrowa Gornicza and hope to secure a win.
