Very expected game when 13th ranked Nico Basket (5-16) lost to ninth ranked Cagliari (9-10) in Ponte Buggianese 54-67 on Saturday. Cagliari forced 20 Nico Basket turnovers. Guard Erika Striulli (170-1990) notched 15 points and 5 assists to lead the effort and naturalized Israeli point guard Giulia Prosperi (178-1997) supported her with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Even a double-double of 10 points and 12 rebounds by forward Caterina Mattera (185-2001) did not help to save the game for Nico Basket.
