Rather expected game in Lapua where 10th ranked Kobrat (11-20) was defeated by eighth ranked Nokia (14-17) 82-78 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 25-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Nokia outrebounded Kobrat 37-24 including 24 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Puerto Rican power forward Arnaldo Toro (203-1997, college: St.John's) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 19 rebounds. American point guard Kahron Ross (180-1995, college: Lehigh, agency: One Motive Sports) chipped in 21 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Stokley Chaffee (204-1996, college: Tennessee St.) who recorded 16 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import forward Andre Wesson (198-1997, college: Ohio St.) added 16 points and 5 assists respectively.
