Everything went according to plan when third ranked Milano (17-5) defeated on the road 10th ranked Bolzano BC (6-15) 60-52 on Saturday. Milano had a 31-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Elisabetta Penz (170-1996) notched 15 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and Lithuanian power forward Laura Zelnyte (190-1994) supported her with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Four Milano players scored in double figures. Even 13 points and 8 rebounds by swingman Alessia Egwho (187-1997) did not help to save the game for Bolzano BC. Swedish forward Evelyn Ovner (180-1993, college: Bridgeport, agency: Jones Sports International) added 11 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Milano maintains third position in A2 with 17-5 record having just four point less than leader Valdarno. Loser Bolzano BC dropped to the eleventh place with 15 games lost. Milano will meet at home league's second-placed Udine in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
