There was a minor upset in Zagreb where Zaprude was defeated by Medvescak 77-68 on Sunday. Medvescak had a 33-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Medvescak made 8 blocks. Guard Luka Skoric (188-2003) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Borna Zivkovic (204-1995, agency: Players Group) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Dorian Jelenek (200-1995) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Dario Gazic (200-1991) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four Zaprude players scored in double figures. Zaprude's coach Zivko Ljubojevic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Medvescak will meet Jazine in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Zaprude will play against Amphora and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
