No shocking result in a game when leader RSU 2 (20-0) crushed 3rd placed Ridzene (14-6) in Riga 68-46 on Sunday. The game without a history. RSU 2 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Ridzene's 28. RSU 2 forced 23 Ridzene turnovers. Guard Liza Cumika (181-1999) nailed a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and Latvian forward Ieva Stefanija Jundase (178-1994) accounted for 8 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Liva Gode (170-2004) came up with 19 points and forward Tina Grausa (181-2005) added 7 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Ridzene in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. RSU 2 have an impressive series of twenty victories in a row. They maintain first place with 20-0 record. Loser Ridzene keeps the third position with six games lost.
