Very important is a home loss of third ranked Sutomore (14-6) against sixth ranked Podgorica-2 (12-8) on Monday night. Host Sutomore was defeated by Podgorica-2 in Sutomore 84-70. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Sutomore. Podgorica-2 forced 20 Sutomore turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was a good game for guard Amar Hot (185-2004) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 13 assists and 5 steals. Lazar Vukcevic (203-2003) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five Podgorica-2 players scored in double figures. Point guard Aleksa Mandic (184-1997) answered with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Milos Rajovic (196-1990) added 15 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Sutomore. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Podgorica-2 moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Montenegro and Akademik. Sutomore at the other side keeps the third position with six games lost. Podgorica-2 will play against Montenegro (#4) in the next round. Sutomore will play against Zeta in Golubovci and hopes to get back on the winning track.
