No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Scrivia (16-7) beat at home 11th ranked Bolzano BC (7-16) 53-43 on Tuesday. It was an exceptional evening for power forward Giulia Rulli (183-1991) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds. Point guard Claudia Colli (176-1996) accounted for 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Swedish forward Evelyn Ovner (180-1993, college: Bridgeport, agency: Jones Sports International) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Alessia Egwho (187-1997) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Bolzano BC in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Scrivia moved-up to fifth place in A2. Loser Bolzano BC dropped to the tenth position with 16 games lost. Scrivia will meet at home league's second-placed Udine in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bolzano BC will play against Alpo (#6) and hope to secure a win.
