Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Valladolid (11-15) was defeated at home by second ranked Estudiantes (21-5) 66-62 on Tuesday. The best player for the winners was Danish center Kevin Larsen (208-1993, college: GWU) who scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Alex Urtasun (193-1984) chipped in 13 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Alec Wintering (183-1995, college: Portland) who recorded 14 points and the other American import center Kavion Pippen (208-1996, college: SIU) added 8 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Estudiantes have a solid series of four victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Granada.
