Amager fired past SISU in Game 1. It looked good early as SISU took a 8-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Amager took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 24 points. They also forced 23 SISU turnovers and outrebounded them 46-34 including a 35-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international guard Ena Viso (177-1993, college: S.Dakota St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 16 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and American swingman Teja Twitty (178, college: UNCG) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds. Four Amager players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international point guard Asta Blauenfeldt (168-2002) responded with 15 points and 4 steals and guard Michala Bork (178-2003) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. SISU's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win.
