Rather predictable result when Cibona (19-6) rolled over Zabok (11-14) in Zagreb 106-83 on Wednesday. Cibona forced 22 Zabok turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American Nathan Reuvers (211-1998, college: Wisconsin) who led the winners and scored 24 points and 6 rebounds. Argentinian point guard Jose Vildoza (191-1996, agency: Octagon Europe) accounted for 18 points and 5 assists for the winning side. Five Cibona players scored in double figures. Forward Luksa Buljevic (200-2002, agency: PEPI SPORT) came up with 26 points and 8 rebounds and guard Srdjan Brocic (183-1999, agency: BeoBasket) added 8 points and 11 assists respectively for Zabok in the defeat. Zabok's coach Jaksa Vulic gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Cibona will meet at home Split (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Zabok will play against Gorica and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
