Very predictable result when sixth ranked Girona (15-11) smashed on the road bottom-ranked Huesca (3-24) 85-50 on Thursday. Girona forced 19 Huesca turnovers. The best player for the winners was the former international center Marc Gasol (216-1985) who scored 22 points and 7 rebounds. Argentinian Maximo Fjellerup (196-1997) chipped in 9 points. Girona's coach Carles Marco felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Bosnian forward Njegos Sikiras (205-1999) who recorded 19 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Ayoze Alonso (187-1991) added 14 points respectively. Girona have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place. Huesca lost third consecutive game. They stay dead last with 24 lost games.
