Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Savona (9-11) was edged on the road by fifth ranked Vigarano (13-10) 69-66 on Saturday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Vigarano made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Lucrezia Coser (177-1998) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds. Guard Veronica Perini (175-1988) accounted for 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Forward Beatrice Paleari (173-2001) came up with 19 points and 6 rebounds and guard Lucrezia Zanetti (178-1997, agency: Interperformances) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Savona in the defeat.
