Semi-Finals Game 2: Herlev - Falcon 78-92

Falcon rallied past Herlev on the road to seal their Finals appearance. The game was mostly controlled by Falcon. Herlev managed to win fourth quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Falcon forced 19 Herlev turnovers. Strangely Herlev outrebounded Falcon 41-29 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. International point guard Gritt Ryder (175-1992, college: Colorado St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 7 rebounds, 11 assists and 4 steals. Icelandic forward Thora Jonsdottir (173-1997) contributed with 26 points for the winners. Forward Emilie Larsen (177-2001) replied with 15 points and 9 rebounds and the former international forward Ellen Iversen (180-1997) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Herlev. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
